If so, the Research Computing department is looking for a Research Data Storage and Data Management Engineer to join its team and guide the direction of data storage and management systems for advancing innovative research at Princeton University.
In this role, you partner with research faculty, vendors, and IT staff to architect, design, install, and administer research data storage systems to the specifications needed for data intensive research. You will also troubleshoot system-level issues, as well as give workshops to share knowledge about research data archival and data management topics with the research community.
Working closely with IT colleagues, the Library, the Office of the Dean for Research, and technical staff in University departments, you also provide timely and creative support for long term data storage and retrieval for research computing.
