The Department of Computer Science is looking for an energetic and talented individual to fill a newly created Network Operations Analyst role. Reporting to the manager of infrastructure operations, this position will oversee the department's academic and research network. The Network Operations Analyst focuses on the department's research and academic network, and its supporting services. This position ensures the availability, integrity, security and reliability of mission critical network services. As a member of the Infrastructure Operations group, the network operations analyst bears primary responsibility for managing and monitoring network infrastructure, analyzing and resolving network problems, and regularly improving network and switching infrastructure.
