  • Overview

    The Program Administrator will be an integral team member for the State Health and Value Strategies (SHVS), a grant funded project of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation housed at Princeton University.

     

    SHVS assists states in their efforts to transform health and health care by providing targeted technical assistance to state officials and agencies. The program connects states with experts and peers to undertake health care transformation initiatives. By engaging state officials, the program provides lessons learned, highlights successful strategies, and brings together states with experts in the field.

The program connects states with experts and peers to undertake health care transformation initiatives.     The Program Administrator will assist program leadership in the day-to-day operations of this program. This will include monitoring of program resources, execution of subcontracts entered into by the program, scheduling calls, webinars, and conferences of state officials, maintenance of database that houses program contacts, assistance in maintaining program’s website, assistance in required financial reporting requirements, and other duties as directed by program leadership.

    Responsibilities

    • Support operations of SHVS at the direction of program leadership
    • Schedule regular check in calls and other conference calls as directed by program leadership and maintain calendars of program leadership
    • Track program subcontracts, executing contracts, submitting contracts for university approval, processing invoices
    • Assist in maintenance, preparation and execution of PowerPoint presentations for the program director
    • Plan for and participate in convenings and other off-site meetings, up to 4 trips per year. This includes serving as primary contact between program and meetings venues, and the processing of reimbursement and other logistical material related to meetings.
    • Plan and execute webinars using Webex platform, in collaboration with program partners
    • Post and manage web content for shvs.org in collaboration with outside communication firm and senior program managers
    • Maintain database of program contacts, updating with new contacts as needed and generating mailing lists from database

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Strong interest in health policy and government
    • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to details, accuracy and follow-ups in meeting deadlines
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and WebEx or other webinar software
    • Excellent writing and communication skills dealing with a range of constituents
    • Ability to independently prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
    • A great team player
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
