Do you want to help enable groundbreaking teaching and research? Would you like to help faculty members acquire and operate the most cost effective computer systems for their research, and install and maintain the software they and their students use every day. Are you interested in working with the team that operates Princeton’s largest research computing systems? If so, Princeton University is recruiting a Departmental Computing Systems Analyst to join its Distributed Research Computing Support group.
In the Distributed Research Computing Support group, we provide system administration and software installation services to Princeton faculty members and their research groups. We work closely with the administrators of the University’s large, shared research systems to provide a seamless environment from the researcher’s desktop to our largest high performance clusters. We also consult with faculty members on the acquisition and configuration of new research computing systems.
If you are an experienced Computing Systems Analyst with an interest in providing leading edge computing systems for faculty and students, you have the right skill set to make an immediate contribution to Princeton researchers’ research computing needs.
