The person in this role will be responsible for coordinating program recruitment and hiring of Research Assistants (RAs) as well as coordinating mentorship and support. The Research Assistant Internship is part of BDI’s efforts to support and train the next generation of conflict mitigation and peacebuilding practitioners in the United States. The internship is a 12-month program, where RAs receive hands-on experience in political violence research and mitigation efforts. The Athletic Medicine Team Physician provides services as a UHS physician with special attention to the student athlete population. The physician serves as team physician for varsity athletes at the Director of Athletic Medicine (DAM)'s discretion. This includes sideline event coverage, directing the care of student athletes receiving care from a highly skilled staff of athletic trainers, physical therapists, a clinical registered nurse, and a sports dietitian, and serving as a partner to the DAM. The physician participates as a member of the UHS physician group, including overnight call rotations and regular clinical sessions at the Frist Health Center.This is a part-time (60% duty time), benefits-eligible position.
